How it all started in 1837
Maduro Travel is part of the Maduro Group, which is a highly diversified Dutch Caribbean conglomerate, headquartered in Willemstad, Curaçao and founded in 1837.
The expansion of the Maduro Group into travel-related activities led to the establishment of Maduro Travel in 1934, which in 1948 became the first IATA (International Air Transport Association) travel advisory company in the Caribbean. Under the Maduro Travel trade name, a network of agencies has been built up that, while operating independently, fall within the financial and business philosophy framework of Maduro Holding Inc, the holding company of the Maduro Group.
The Maduro Travel network has now expanded and enables customers to take advantage of its superior services in a number of major destinations. We currently have offices in Curaçao and Bonaire and through our close contact with sister companies in those destinations, we are able to facilitate smooth vacation and business travel arrangements for our customers, from car rentals and hotels to tour operating companies. Over the years, the Maduro tour product has come to enjoy enormous popularity in the markets of the Dutch Caribbean and the Netherlands.
Full-scale automation and efficiency-based improvements have always been the hallmark of Maduro Holding Inc and Maduro Travel has been its flagship organization in that regard. And we have proven that this was possible without sacrificing the personal touch, which continues to be the linchpin of our sterling reputation.
